Non resident youth ?

In the book it says that a non resident youth 13 to 15 needs the non resident jr hunt/fish license plus the non res youth big game license. What would a youth under 13 need to turkey hunt on the juvi hunt and during the regular turkey season

A type 85 or 86 license, proof of Hunter Ed, and if on a WMA a type 94permit. A type 95 could be used if hunting on Cherokee National Forest only. An apprentice license would be needed if the hunter has not passed Hunter Ed.

I missed read the question. Under 13 would need hunter safety or an apprentice license. If on a WMA a type 94 or if Chrrokee only then a Type 95. Sorry about that.

And, it depends on how "under" 13 they are. The hunter safety requirement starts at age 10.

ALL ages require the WMA permits.
