I was wondering if anyone has been to Nickajack bass fishing the last week or two. If so how was the bite? I'm thinking about going down that way first of the week.

Fished upper Guntersville. South Pittsburg bridge down river to the train bridge. Caught lots of bluegill, several channel cats and probably 20 bass (lm, spots and 1 smallie) had 5-6 that would measure. All caught on bobby garland baby shad with 1/16 head in 8-10 feet of water. Rocky banks transition to mud bottom the key.
