Never sprayed any plots before always plowed , disced . Just bought fimco 25 gallon deluxe boom sprayer any advice appreciated . Seems to work great on the back of the mule tried out on 4 plots a little over an acre . Slowed way down to about 2 mph , mixed 3 qrts round up to 25 gallons per acre . Wound up one half gallon of mix per 1000 sg ft . Seem to do well with dew on ground . Sound about right .

Advice: fold the booms up before driving down wooded trails! Watch out for holes or uneven ground that can make the vehicle tip (down-side boom can hit the ground pretty hard). Clean out the tank thuroughly after every use. Run water through the hoses under pressure after every use. Inspect any unplugged hoses before use (mud-doughber wasps like to plug them up).

Yep , figuered that out real quick .

How about the 3 qts roundup in 25 gallons for an acre ???

Also the roundup at lowes was 150 bucks 41% gly , tractor supply for same 2&1/2 gallons generic 41% gly 50 bucks , just as good ???

If you take the nozzles off during storage to keep the dirt daubers from stopping them up.....don't drive to the lease and leave them in your garage...

Check with your local farmer for roundup. We bought ours from a local farmer for $18 per gallon, not generic. The generic works, just seems thought roundup works a little quicker and you can use a little less.
