New to Bobcats

I'd never killed a bobcat, not seen that many in my life, maybe 7 in 38 years. This past week I called in and killed a big tom at 20 yards. Today I called in a second one and missed it. All I'm wanting is some coyotes what's up with the cats? They both came across a large wide open field and came in under 10 minutes. First came to Primos ki-yi set on jack rabbit, the second one came to cottontail in distress electronic.

there are plenty of them and they can come quick. we rarely shoot them on yote sets anymore unless they are big toms.

is their any type of terain thay like more that others....like say a rocky type bluff or a hardwood ridge?
