Long story short, lost most of my longtime lease and I've been hunting public land the last two years. This year started hunting some in the mountains and I've been walking way back in steep terrain. I've worked this season to lighten my load. I had to.
Anyway, something dawned on me a week or so ago. Binoculars. I've carried the same pair for years. And love them. But, i bought this to replace them. Vortex 8x25 monocular. Weighs less than half my binos did and takes up much less space. And they work great. For hunting in the hardwoods like i do, are perfect. Finally a good idea that really turned out to be a good idea.
