Our bucks look pitiful after last fall and winter. Everybody looks younger than they are.Good mass and great g2s... whats not to like?A little light skeletal wise, but he should plump up by mid Oct.

I'm going with 3 1/2 for now. However, considering how poor our bucks are looking, he could be older. I will wait until late October to assign his final age estimate. I want to see him filled out for the rut.Very nice, looks to be closer to 3.5 than 4.5.
He certainly looks like a buck I'd probably hammer. Some different angles would tell the tale. every year for years I've had bucks on camera. Several real nice ones. But they planted beans in the field right next to where I run my camera. Camera has been in the same spot for a decade. Wonder if the beans are keeping them occupied. It's the only thing that has changed. It's usually planted in corn.
Me too! But he just passed by one of my salt licks in the background. Just the one picture of him. I also got a blurry picture of his antlers as he walked too close to another camera near a different salt lick. Hopefully, I'll get video of him in a food plot. But two camera encounters in different parts of the property over a couple of day timeframe is still a good sign that he's hanging around.Really nice 8. I'd love to see his brow tines.
That deer is THICK!
