New hunting spot

I've just picked up a new spot this morning. It has a logging road that is fresh and perfect for food plot. I was thinking wheat but not sure. What else would work? It's a narrow strip of woods probably 60 yards wide.

plant you some turnips

Winter wheat,oats,turnips, daikon radish. Red clover. As long as it gets plenty sun and rain and the fall leaves don't cover the sprouts.... lots will work.
