All our problems are finally over there is an app to tell us when to hunt well we have a machine to camo our scent if our clothes fail we have camo clothes that match top to bottom with food plots that the seed was mixed just for us with a huge buck on the bag a 4 wheeler with all the latest accessories and every call a deer could possibly make some I doubt and clothes that guarantee we will not get chilled and tv shows to show us how it has to be done by a pro a bow a muzzleloader and a rifle that if my wife found out what they cost we would be getting another divorce anyone that says they hunt because they need the meat needs to run for president cause you are another liar because deer meat must cost a hundred dollars a poundJust tell me how did the American Indian ever kill a deer and you say this app really works where do I buy one

Go back to sleep and try to wake up on the right side of the bed next time! :poke: .

Lol, I won't lie I do enjoy watching some of those shows I really like Meat eater I think Steve does a pretty good job personally. And I don't know about apps but Google Earth can help I don't have any hunting apps on my phone. In the past I have used deer scent like estrous or buck but have pretty much given up on them. There are still 2 scents I do use one is the Conquest scent herd in a stick I have actually seen it work 3 years in a row. The second is a vanilla water mixture in a spray bottle.

Punctuation and grammar are important. See here: I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse. Now read it again without the comma and capitalization of Jack. Ha!

Well I can kinda understand. I remember when the only technology you used on a deer hunt was a Marlin 30-30, long johns, and a red plaid wool coat and hat. Your boots were brown and maybe water proof if you had the money. You threw your license. gloves, knife, compass, sandwich, and shells in your coat pocket and your coffee thermos in the back of the Chevy 2wd truck and went hunting. Now days I have to really limit myself on what I want to bring. At least my cell phone has a built in GPS so that cuts down on a couple items, don't need a radio anymore, a separate GPS or Topo map. Of course I suffer from the call curse and have to have a grunt and bleat can, then there's the MRE and water bottle, lets not forget a multipurpose knife, compass, waterproof matches, survival blanket, first aid kit, and deer scent, you know synthetic doe/buck pee, plus the gloves for field dressing, ammo, wow its starting to add up already. That's ok, that is what the backpack and orange vest is for. And I almost forgot, I won't see any deer at all unless I am wearing this years camouflage fashions up 20' in a tree stand. Poor deer only having that grey brown & white coat year after year, they just don't know what fashion in the woods is really all about. Wait a minute lets not forget our truck and four wheeler. I just don't know how my father and his father ever did without 4 wheel drive, and big knobby tires, My father in law in the red plaid coat, a twenty year plus deer hunter, told me once that my Rem 243 was way too loud for its caliber and deer pee was a waste of good money. You know he was probably right in more ways than one.

I was like that when I first started hunting 5 or 6 years ago. I quickly realized I didn't need all that stuff to enjoy the hunt. Now a days its just me, my weapon, and my nasty tore to pieces hunting clothes. I dont believe the hype on latest and greatest anymore. I walk to my hunting spots and I drag deer out by the legs when I kill one. I like the purity of it. Nothing wrong with having the best of everything if you think it gives you an advantage, just not for me. I like it simple. I also have private land to hunt that holds several big bucks a year on it. I choose to hunt public land because of the challenge. Call me weird but thats what I like.
