Since it's Iron Bowl week I thought we should enjoy the greatest play in college football history.
I like this one better. RTR!
I've got a buddy who is a big Auburn fan. I find myself jealous of the memory he has of this play every time I see it.
I honestly believe it's the greatest play in CFB history. In my lifetime anyway. Obviously it's subjective. If I was a homer I would pick a TENNESSEE play. But I'm able to look at college football from a completely impartial angle. Will take a lot for another play to take the top spot as that was a wild one for sure and couldn't have happened to a better team.![]()
That game got faded out in the history books by this one play.
Bond……Isiah Bond
I'd equate it to the band play or in the NFL the Music City MiracleOnly in the minds of alabama homers. Every team in CFB has a game winning play like that. It's not rare. There's only one Kick Six. Speaking of which, if your play doesn't have its own name universally recognized by all college football fans, it doesn't even qualify for the list. I can say Kick Six to a Washington fan, Miami fan, UCLA fan, Penn State fan, Texas fan, or any other fan and they immediately know the play. Any arguments to the contrary are completely ridiculous, but I still expect you to make them.
The band play is the only CFB play I can think of that's in the same zip code as Kick Six.I'd equate it to the band play or in the NFL the Music City Miracle

Kick Six is definitely more know and probably is the best play of all time.Only in the minds of alabama homers. Every team in CFB has a game winning play like that. It's not rare. Your opinion of Auburn having "the greatest play in college football history" explains a lot of your ADS problemsI can see why you like that one better, but it's just an above average play. It doesn't rank anywhere on the list of "Greatest Plays in College Football History".
Homer.![]()
Probably the greatest play in National Championship history as long as we are taking a stroll through memory lane. And it has a name for those that care about that sort of thing. 2 and 26
If you would have asked any ALABAMA fan st halftime that would have been the guess. This was a total shock... Most of us expected UGA to win that game.
Name one play in college football history that tops it. Maybe the band play. I can't think of any other.Your opinion of Auburn having "the greatest play in college football history" explains a lot of your ADS problems![]()
Same.I'm a Vol fan first and foremost then Awwbun for sure this weekend. It'll be a tall order for them both but would make for a great football weekend to come out victorious on both fronts .
So you're saying your hate for Alabama isn't the reason you started this thread?Maybe AI has ADS. Or maybe it's the intelligence part of Artificial Intelligence.![]()
Negatory. It's Iron Bowl week and the greatest play in college football history happened at the Iron Bowl so I thought it was appropriate. I would have posted it even if Bandwagon Nation didn't have so many members here.So you're saying your hate for Alabama isn't the reason you started this thread?
