Need some wisdom.

Like a lot of people on here I'm looking for a lease to get on. Is there a better site that has these listed or is it more of a word of mouth thing? I hunt public land but i get discouraged every year because i see guys walking in at 7:30 or 8:00 and I've been sitting for three hours. Tired of the headache looking for a good QDM program to join. Would appreciate any advice thanks

Unfortunately a good qdm program won't change some people's hunting tactics or keel them from being up walking around like that.. Probably more word of mouth and just keep checking this site or check craigslist for some leases..

Id find about 10 square miles you like and just ride around asking a bunch of questions and ask landowners for a lease.Also,Id contact the timber companies all around the area and ask them,they typically have excess land from farms they have bought and cut the trees.You gotta talk to the landowners to find a lease.
