Need info on REVALATION shotguns

I was curious who actually manufactured them, I know Revalation was the "house brand" that was sold at Western Auto but heard they were built by Savage or Stevens.

Revelation was built, as you said, by Savage and Stevens, but also Winchester got in on the deal. Depending on which model you have, it was a copy of a "big name" manufacturer. You just have to decipher which one. When you find it, most of the parts will be interchangeable.

I didnt even check to see if it had a model number on it, I found it in a store today after work & the gent told me a hundred bucks out the door, it looked ok but not great, bluing & wood was at about 70%,had a a small crack wher the stock & reciever meet.

I had a couple when I was a kid, didnt care that much for'em even then, think I'll rather hold out for a Savage, Stevens or maybe a clean model 37.

Should be able to get a Rem 870 for just a tick over $300. Hard to beat.
