Made by Mossberg I do believe. Use to see em everywhere, not so much anymore
Pretty sure I have 1 hanging in my wallhangers at the shop office. There were a lot of cool bolt action shotguns in that era. Wish I'd kept my old Marlin Goose Gun
Agree, I think it's a Mossberg. I've got one similar. I think @Kimber45 has about 20-30 of these hangin in his bourbon cave

Cool old shotgun.

If I remember right, these were made by Mossberg for Western Auto.

I believe Western Auto's brand was Revelation.

I have always said that if there is one gun in my safe that is not for sale (there are many) it is my Mossburg .410 bolt action. My Grandfather gave it to me just before he passed when I was 5 years old. At first glance this shotgun looks just like it but with a larger barrel. Nothing fancy about them but I love those.
It was Montgomery Wards that sold the Western Field brand, but they were made by several manufacturers.

In the safe is a Golden Daisy BB gun that my grandfather bought my dad for his 6 th birthday in 1926. Bought it in a pawn shop in Bham Al for 25 cents . Still shoots, carried this gun on many patrols around my neighborhood in my youth . Its not worth much but it is priceless.
