I am fishing a tourney on CHL this weekend. Any tips on location to start. I have never fished this lake. What kind of lures should I start with. Weather looks good with 80+ water temps. Thanks for the help in advance.

Which tournament are you fishing??
Make sure you can find a ramp that is still operable.

All major ramps are good. The water has came up a lot the last couple of weeks. It is still super low but high enough to put in where ever you want.

There will be a lot of fish on bed this weekend. The water on the upper end of the lake should still have some color, but the lower end will be clear. There will probably be a lot of fish caught this weekend on top water and a floating worm. The BFL was won down there last weekend flipping.

know 2 guys fishing the renegade,they stuck out today prefishing.Not what you wanted to hear Im sure.They are pretty experienced there.They were disgusted.
