My son is going to GS next month and he wants to do a fishing trip, preferably redfish but would consider others. No party boat. Any recommendations? He realizes he's late and might have trouble finding an open spot.

Reel Surprise Charters in San Roc Cay Marina or Sportsmans Marina, both in Orange Beach . They should be able to help. Try to find Capt Bill Kramer (he's a Ex-Tennesseean that guides out of Orange Beach)

We fished with Off The Hook Charters out of Ft. Morgan couple falls ago. Fished in Mobile Bay.
Got into several redfish and one trout I think. Then we filled up on white trout before the end of the trip. It's a nice drive out to Ft. Morgan fromGS/OB also.
