looking for good scope for Ruger m77 300mag Thought about Nikon prostaff 4-12 like to have 50mm lens would this be good set up

Go to grab a gun website. They have all kinds of scopes. They have a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44 for $583.39. Really a great scope, for a good price ! You can buy what ever kind you want, cheaper online, than you can at local stores usually.

Put a Nikon buck masters 4.5x14x40 on my m77 .270 and never looked back its awesome scope you won't be disappointed with a Nikon but for the money red field don't make a bad scope if not mistaking leoupold builds them?

Redfields. Lifetime garuntee using leupolds vrx-2 glass and the 4x12 is only $175. I have leupolds in all my guns but next gun I buy im gettin a redfield. Clarity and the way the hold light is no diff than the $400-500 scopes I do have. Lifetime garuntee is worth it tho.

leupold vx3 set it forget it. have three of them. i bought a nikon last year and want to kick myself everytime i look at that gun.

yep. the vx3 are clear, light and pretty

All good recommendations. I like the Burris and Bushnell Elitte 4200 Series, I believe they both offer alot of scope per dollar. Same with the Red Field. HOWEVER, I can ASSURE you that the Red Field does not share glass with the VXIII. Yes they are owned by the same people, but they are not the same glass. I own Nikon, Leupold, Burris, Red Field, and Bushnell Elitte. My favorite scope is my Nikon Monarch.
