I went to this type "cage" several years ago and the difference is night and day for me. No hassling with the cap on the tube, I can put a slice of bread in for food, wet it a little for them to hydrate and not have a mess all over me.I have gotten to where I like this kind better.

I am down to one cricket tube that I like.
Walmart used to carry these but apparently, in my area, they don't any more.
I haven't had any luck online except for ebay and they want like 12 bucks plus 5 dollars shipping for one. LOL
If anyone happens to run across any of these I would gladly pay for them plus shipping and a tip for your trouble.
They MUST have the solid plastic cap holder, NOT a string.
Thanks for any help.

That's awesome!A gentleman in Chester County invented the Cricket Rocket. It works well.
My favorite also. Plastic night crawler box sits right in hole. I cut up a small potatoe and they last weeks and get fatter.I have gotten to where I like this kind better.

Thinking outside the box right thereYou could cut the string and use a small zip tie to connect the tube to the cap.
