it's been a while since I have fished any of those lakes

Pin Oak is the ski boating lake. get your lake permit for it at Pin Oak lodge.

Browns and Maple are TWRA lakes.

Cub Lake,(I think they call it Cuba now) is at one of the camp sites. you have to rent their boats, you can not put your own in it. I found out the hard way about 20 yrs ago.

as far as what's biting, where to wet the hook, your guess is as good as mine.

Pin Oak and Browns are both great bass lakes. TWRA shocked a state record in Browns back a few months ago. Pin Oak is busy on the weekends but during the week it is great. Dogwood and Redbud are also close by. Hit the points with a carolina rig. Pin Oak is a lot bigger lake.
