great issue. the creek crappie article brought back a memory of my brother and i pushing my grandfather in a wheelchair to the back of birdsong. we were probably 12 or 13. my grandfather was a retired lawman and cattle farmer and didnt fish much. we slayed them that day with cane poles. he passed on the next year.
