Am I right?My soil test look good,been posted,got the clover going good and thick,so......this fall wont need much,if any N,right?To get the wheat/oats going,and.....this will help to not encourage grasses?
 
I would think so, you can always top dress your plots in November. You won't have to worry about grass and your plots will thank you.
 
Clover needs little to no N.....it loves phosphorous and potassium.....Phosphorous is the important ingredient for any plant that blooms profusely. 0-20-20, or 0-30-30 or even 5-24-20 all suit the bill in general for clover. Since clover produces its own N....i love mixing it with wheat which feeds off of the N that the clover produces.
