So here is the unofficial score of my 10 point that i posted Sunday. With deductions he was 137 2/8 and without he was 143 4/8. He had 6 2/8" in deductions . What do you guys count? After deductions or before?

Last picture is of my bullet I found in the exit shoulder. Yes it is a Powerbelt. The bullet shattered the exit side shoulder bone, and stopped right on the edge of the shoulder. My first Powerbelt without complete pass through. But he did make it only 35 yards. So as much bone as it tore up, I'm still happy with the performance.

I was just cutting up some jerky from a doe I killed opening day of ML and find a nice chunk of bullet in the meat. My knife blade hit it and I was like why is there bone in this meat. Pulled back the meat and it was a piece of lead. It's kind of neat finding your bullets.

One more thing maybe y'all can help me with. Since I have the bullet from my 10 point, do y'all have any creative ideas to incorporate it into the mount. I may be crazy but I think it would be neat to have the killing bullet with the mount.

When my sister killed her first deer last year, I recovered the bullet. Since it was a doe, we took and made a picture frame and placed the bullet inside a little plexiglas box attached to it. An idea at least...

Unless he is going in a record book, net is irrelevant. By the way, the abnormal points count toward gross too. Congrats on your great buck.

I really don't get it. Why have a net and must be dried out rule. The gross and untried is what was on his head when I killed it.
