My HCO Pandas have paid for themselves

On the Mississippi opening gun day, I got a text from one of my cams. ~9am I saw 2 guys who I did not know walking down a trail in full hunting gear. Our farm is 4 1/2 hours away so I couldn't spring into action to go down and deal with the situation. Turns out, these guys have been hunting our property for years. We suspected it but never caught 'em red-handed until now. Its a long family related drama story, but someone without authority gave these dudes permission. Needless to say, the situation has been dealt with. The morale of the story is that we probably would have never known had I not put cams with cellular capabilities on the property.

Our landowner bagged our road hunters this year. They had several deer heads rotting in the bed of their truck and were caught red-handed. TWRA took everything they had!

Very cool. How well is the Panda working for you? One of the reviews of the Panda says that it makes an audible click when it takes a picture. Can you confirm that?

I am running two Covert Code Blacks and was thinking about getting a third, but I noticed the Panda is available for quite a bit less right now. The best price I'm finding on the Code Black is $280 shipped, but right now the Panda is available from Amazon for $237 shipped. I'm tempted...

I can hear an audible click, but that's when its in my hand. It hasn't seemed to have spooked any animals. One thing that I don't like is that it seems to take many false pics. I have it on low sensor setting. Someone suggested that I take a thin strip of black tape and put over the edges of the sensor. It may be picking up motion beyond the view of the cam. We'll see if that works...
