My grandson could use some prayers

My grandson, who is now 18 months old, has been having seizures over the past few months. Before today, he has had 3-4, all associated with extreme fever. Today, he's had 4 and was taken to LeBonhuer via ambulance. He just had an EEGand is about to go for an MRI. Doctors are clueless right now. My son and his wife are both medical professionals and they have the entire family worried sick. But I have faith in the healer of all and that he has a plan for all things.

So sorry to hear about your Grandson, and more prayers on the way.
Have seen some positively amazing treatments and recoveries of children sent to Le Bonheur over the years.
They can seemingly work miracles at Le Bonheur, or maybe the Good Lord has chosen to show those miracles more there.

A little update. Myles had 5 different seizures on Tuesday. They did a EEG and a MRI and found nothing. They sent him home. Then Friday morning he had two much more intense seizures and the 2nd one affecting his breathing. Which caused his lips to turn blue. The doc had given my son some sort of medication pen/needle for such emergencies. His breathing returned and the paramedics came and took him back to LeBonhuer where they checked the only organ not checked, his heart. They did an EKG and again found nothing.

More prayers lifted for your grandson. Did they ever do a spinal tap and rule out meningitis? The reason I ask is they would not let us leave LeBonheur without that being ruled out. I hated for my little 2 year old daughter to have to endure a spinal tap, but I was glad to get the results back and know for sure she did not have any infection in her spinal fluid. The doctors attempted to do it first with just local anesthesia and without total anesthesia, but then I requested they put her under because I could tell my infant daughter was in a lot of pain and very disgruntled while they were trying to get the needle in the right spot and withdraw the spinal fluid. Please keep us posted on how things are going with your grandson, I hope and pray he snaps out of it and never has another seizure.

He ended up back at the ER yesterday am after 4 more seizures. They've yet to determine what's causing them and say it's just a matter of finding the right med.
