Muddy and Cold Water

I found a few suspended females 8-10 ft. deep holding in 15-20 foot of water the past couple days. Only caught 3 black crappie holding on probably 50 stake beds I fished. Did much better fishing drains and forgetting brush.

Which lake are you fishing?

yeah, this time of year they "wander a lot" covering a lot of water or on mudflats. i remember paul saying he recorded a lot of his gps fish traveled 3-4 miles in a day. longlining jigs or casting to tight schools can be productive.

My last trip i couldnt anything. I need them to get back on structure. Lol, doubt they will listen to me tho.

Was planning on going to Priest but ended up on Old Hickory.
