So this morning it was nice not sweating through my cloths with the cooler weather. Had a group coming through that I had thought spotted me but about 15 minutes later heard something coming through the thickets and a thunderous sound came by. A deer was r running at full speed and then a yote came running by. Right after that had a couple come thorough and almost got to shoot at my first deer ever but They never turned broadside enough. Seem s to be allot of movement today.

They should be moving around most of today, cooler temps and acorn shortage.
lol what shortage? Was slipping on marbles this morning and hearing them crack down like rain every time a squirrel jumped

Well the yote came back through and I drew down and made a sound to get him to stop but he ran. I hate the yotes. After going out with the family went back out this afternoon and finally got to release an arrow. The deer was 40 yards broadside and as soon as I let it go the deer moved and it scared all 6 does. I know their route now, so I'll move to a better location next time. Maybe I'll get my first deer soon, but couldn't beat the beautiful day God gave us. I feel blessed every time I get to go out.

wasn't gonna shoot up a farm managed for deer to kill a few squirrels, there's a healthy population of those rats but not too many, they keep me entertained waiting for a deer
