Beautiful trees! I have three moonglows and five Bartlets. I planted them at 6' tall last year. They are all over 10' tall now. I expect to have some fruit next year.

My trees have small black spots on the leaves. I'm sure this is some sort of disease. I hope the fruit tree spray helps.

Tried growing pears in Southern California. A total failure. kept trying, 6, 7 years. Apples, peaches, apricots, nectarines, plums, grow like weeds.

Any secrets?

Not really, keep the weeds and grass away from them, water if needed, spray once a month or so with Neem oil, least that's what I use.
