Its now official i finally get to hunt mule deer and ELK !!!! I got my montana tags and license in the mail today. Can not wait till late oct.

I am pumped been walking several miles a day with boots on and a 40lb backpack.Got a new leupold 1200tbr rangefinder with the inclinometer this week now got start shooting a little farther than normal.

Can you say 14 days till I head northwest. I am stoked gonna spend 1st seven days horse back in the massive bob Marshall .Been shooting a lot 100 to 700 yards.Got all my clothes packed and my dad stuff ready as well he doesn't hunt but going to just be with me.

Bring bear spray. It is better than any side arm. I have had grizzlies in camp before and they don't show much fear of humans.
