Smokeless minox--what have I done??

Ordered a minox zv-3 3-9x40 for my H&R conversion from cameralandny.Got a open box unit for $149 free shipping. I thought it was a great deal.Got the scope today and upon inspecting it I noticed a made in china sticker on it.I thought something was wrong because i thought minox scopes was made in usa or germany.After doing a quick google search I found out the ZV line is made in china and the ZA line is made in the USA. So now I've got a chinese scope and not sure what to do with it.Thinking of sending it back, because I sure would not have bougjt it had I known it was chinese made. With that said it does have real clear optics.

I have 2 ZV's - Love em! Read the reviews done between the 2 series before you decide to return.

I bought them on closeout at Buds for 113/116 New - bought 2 and wish I'd have bought more.

i with kimber on this mine have been great
i put one on my 375 h&h just for fun and after box of ammo it seems to be holding zero

really? Well maybe I wasnt giving the zv line enough credit.after reading this and having kimber45 back them up i think ill give it a try.This just gonna be a woods gun any way.

I love the ZV I have on my 30-06 ... Super clear and one of my favorite scopes. Save your money and put it on the H&R ... I was thinking the reasoning behind your conversion was to be more economical since you didnt get long shots anyways ?

i agree

however personally id stick with what i know

old burris fulfield 2 used 100-150
nikon monarch used 175-200 ish
bushnell eliete 3200 125-150 ish used
these IMO are good cheap scopes

no experience with minox

My ZA5 has been sent back to Minox. It is a 3X15 and is very cloudy on the upper powers. I think Roost had the same problem with his. Minox says they will make it right. We will see.

On the same note my ZA5 2X10 seems to be a great scope very clear.
