im thinking about getting back into mrtal decting,ive been told you cannot hunt on tva property anymore is this true?Can you hunt city sidewalks?any help would be appriciated.

That is correct...TVA stopped issuing permits for hunting the beaches and campgrounds. All their other property has always been off limits...the permit only covered the beach and camping areas. As for sidewalk grassy areas and such...that would depend on the laws in your city. Some might allow it; some don't. You just have to call the city board and ask somebody in charge.
