Had the privilege of meeting a member a few months back. @Iglow was kind enough to gift me my first recurve bow, since he had a couple he wasn't shooting anymore. He even gave me everything I needed to get started: arrows, shooting tab, extra limbs. The bow was well taken care of with a classic paint job that I love.

I took it to Music City Archery to have them look over it. Jeff, who I'm pretty sure is the owner, checked everything out and gave me a quick lesson on shooting recurve. A pic of my second grouping first day shooting recurve is below. It's only 10 yards in the pic below but I'll take it for a first day! Thanks again @Iglow this bow is definitely going to find a ton of use with me. Further down the archery rabbit hole I go...not that I'm complaining

I started at 10 yards to get a feel for it. Was grouping the same way at 20 by the time I left until fatigue set in. Recurve is a different beast for sure, but I enjoy the shot process alot more I can't explain it. I guess it feels more natural.
