I know you folks are getting tired of hearing about my Mauser build,so now that I finally got her done maybe I'll quit talking about her so much, Oh wait theres still range reports. Ha Ha

For those of you that are the same mind as my gunsmith buddy thats been walking me through this and wonder why in the heck anyone would build a blue and gray rifle. Well lets see my Nova is blue and gray and now the rifle and I have more Seattle Seahawks hats than I know what to do with, see where this in going.

I'm with your buddy on the colors of the stock, but its your rifle, so who cares what we think! I would like to have the rifle(I have always admired 98's, even though I don't currently own one(2 stolen).
Curious though, why is cocked in the picture?

4onaside,I had just stuck the bolt back in before I took the pictures. good eye.
Mr Pety it's a 7mm-08,always wanted one in a bull barrel so I could try using it for some long range stuff and see how the caliber does way out there.

Nothing wrong with those colors unless you're going to use it for turkey hunting and I don't think that's your intent. Nice looking rig. Now show us some groups.
