Maple Tags filled

Best season I've ever had for tagging Maple trees lol. 2 pulped trees and 2 gobblers who got to live another day. In 30 years I've done this one other time, and to do it twice in one season is quite an accomplishment. First tree was at 6 steps, second maybe 10'. I like to get them close

Overall really odd year. Birds have been extra quiet. But despite tagging two trees I've called in birds and had fun.

You got to watch out for those trees. Especially the maples. Those Maples are really quick and they are able to jump right in front of your muzzle when you least expect it.

Killed or wounded a few tree's over the year deer hunting, stopped turkey hunting after getting RMSF so I been saving some tree's lmao. surprisingly most were with muzzle loaders shooting round balls.

I had a buddy shoot the same tree twice in one hunt on a doe management hunt. Funniest thing ever.

Probably not, but there's no negative to shooting it either. I shot the same Winchester HV turkey loads for over 20 years and just wanted to shoot something different. It works well, on wood or turkey necks lol.
