I was drawn for the Genesis Muzzleloader hunt and I'm trying to find a hardcopy map of the whole WMA, preferably a topo, any suggestions? I've never stepped foot on the land so any other advice is greatly appreciated as well.

Mytopo.com
Go to gmu hunting maps
Tennessee
Catoosa
Make larger to fit the wma
Customize
Order
It'll be at your house in about 3 days.

Thank you. I looked there but I didn't know you could modify the size. Will the smallest size still be decent to look at?

I just hunt bi-polar and this is the 24x36 map. It goes from Daddys Creek east to the boundary. I like 1:24,000 scale maps for readability. If you're only hunting one side, I would recommend this size of map and scale.

I've got the largest size map in the same scale for LBL and it's large size makes it inconvenient to carry in the field.

I haven't decided on which side or made any definite plans so I might end up ordering one for each side. Is that a waterproof one?

Waterproof, folded, with hashmarks. I choose bi-color (not bi-polar ) for no other reason than I can be pulling into the wma in exactly 1 hour from leaving my house. I love camping and hunting, but sometimes that's not a possibility and I know I'll spend more time hunting g it and getting to know it if I have a reasonable drive. However, I didn't put in for Catoosa this year, but I'll still do the open hunt and squirrel hunt there.

That's basically why I put in for a draw hunt, I have access to private land so I don't do the camping aspect of it at all and I wanted to start. I left a message for the Manager yesterday trying to figure out the open hunt days/scouting days/camping situation, so I'm not walking in totally blind. Thanks again for all the help.

Go to the office in Crossville and buy a map or order one, cut it into 6 or 8 sections and number them, then laminate them and you will be set for a long time. That is what we did, then you only have to hold 1 section at a time.

I called the region III office to see if I could order one over the phone somehow and that's not an option. I do like the idea of cutting it into sections, I'm sure it makes it a lot more manageable.
