Making spinners

Anybody ever make their own spinners, I love Mepps spinners but they're really high. Just been looking around and it doesn't seem hard but trying to find a good kit or pieces?

I almost exclusively use Magooster spinners. A local guy makes them and sells them at the mom and pop stores locally and online too. I dabbled into making my own but can buy his for almost what it costs me in material.

Jans Netcraft has lots of material. I get my lead from the local tire co. A five gallon bucket of used tire weights will last a long time

There is someone from here that is much better than me from around here. I don't think he has a web site but I'm pretty sure he is on Facebook. Frew's custom baits.
