Making spinners

Anybody ever make their own spinners, I love Mepps spinners but they're really high. Just been looking around and it doesn't seem hard but trying to find a good kit or pieces?

I got some from Cabela's/bass pro but had to order online. I just started making them again been a while since used them a lot in SD

I almost exclusively use Magooster spinners. A local guy makes them and sells them at the mom and pop stores locally and online too. I dabbled into making my own but can buy his for almost what it costs me in material.

You can get kits from Barlows or lurepartsonline.

Jans Netcraft has lots of material. I get my lead from the local tire co. A five gallon bucket of used tire weights will last a long time
