Longbeard bachelor group

I saw 27 longbeards in one group yesterday. That's a record for me. The best I can surmise is that the neighbors have stopped deer hunting for the year and the corn piles are drying up, now the turkeys are back to acorns and scratching cow pies. Anybody else seeing any?

I've seen more groups of turkeys this fall/winter than I have in years.

Yes. Not that many though. 10-15 in a group on several occasions in Hickman County.
