We can't put enough lime down at once to properly do our food plot because of the accesability of our land. Its 4 wheeler only,I take 100 lbs with me and distibute it over our 1 acre plot every 2 weeks or so.We need a ton according to our soil annalisis,Will this work or should we have a lime hauling day and try to put down a bunch at once?

Tailers are tuff to use ,hills are steep and sandy in spots, you lose traction pulling stuff in the steep sandy spots and then get to unload the trailer.Yes I can carry more than 100 lbs but when Im trying to hunt Im just doing some along the way.The yamaha 4wd 450 has carried much more than 100lbs.

We put out 12,000 of lime on two acre and a half food plots using 40 lb bags. We had four 4 wheelers hauling 6-8 bags a time over 1 mile and up the side of a mountain. We had one guy driving a tractor and one guy helping him load the speader. This 12,000 lbs tooks 6 hours to spread. A lot of hard work but well worth it.
