When do you guys usually lime?

If I was to lime a plot tomorrow could it be planted tomorrow?

When will I see results from liming if I lime this week?

Thanks for any advice I pretty much do all our food plots myself and I've never been able to afford or find affordable lime until now.

I usually lime in the spring but, anytime is good. If your like me you have to so things when you have time and the funds.

Yes.. you can plant at any time.

Your lime will not be spread through out the soil for about 5-6 months.

Lime is insurance for the future of your soil. Next spring and fall you should be in good shape if you put enough lime on your plot.

I read that you won't see Ph results for 6 months. But it won't hurt to spread it and then plant afterwards.
