Leupold Ultimate Slam MZ Scope

I'm thinking about this 3-9x scope for my Knight Disc Extreme. Anybody have any experience with this one? I imagine it's close to VX-1 quality based on price.

i have one on my long range hunter and its a great scope, it seems clearer than the vx 1 i have on my 243

It is VXII quality. The reason the price is down is because Leupold is discontinuing the scope and retailers are unloading them. Before it was discontinued the Ultimate slam was selling for upwards of $300. It is a very nice scope. I like mine better than anything I've ever used on a MZ.

for my smokeless the only scope id have on it is a zeiss 3-9x40 with target knobs

The Ultimate Slam is not quite Zeiss quality DA but they are more than a Ben Franklin less money. Now that they are discounted it's more like $200 less than the Conquest for new.

my brother has one on the Savage Slug gun,,he can make 200 yard shots with it on demand,,
