I guess tomorrow will hopefully be my official opening day for 2012. I drove 25miles to my property last weekend only to sit in the stand for 45 mins before the rain ran me out of there.

Then went back last sat evening, got there about 4 and the rain ran me out of there about 645. As soon as i got down a doe stepped out of the woods heading straight to my salt block but seen me.

So hopefully tomorrow will be my Opening day hunt where i can sit as long as i want

Rains moving in tonight but hopefully its gone by morning.

Dood Ain chu got chu no raincoat?

However, I donotbowhunt in the rain. Is not fair to de aminul.

I dont mind getting wet but dont like my equipment getting wet

Good luck rem270.

You werent the only one getting rained on last week.
Walked in last sunday.Pulled a chip and sat in the tree for almost an hour looking over 1200 pics.Daylight bought the first sprinkle and for the next 4 hours steady rain.Thank God for my umbrella.Let up around 10am and i got out.Sunday pm was nice.Even the sun came out for a while.

Woke up monday to cloudy skys.Again right about 30 minutes before daylight another downpour.

Will go back and hunt sunday and monday this week.
