right now mine is just my 10/22 carbine with a 25 round butler creek hotlips banana mag, a modded auto bolt release plate, and a home made bolt buffer.

Mainly for the backyard.

Crosman Recruit with custom camo duct tape wrap ;)

I could use a more powerful, accurate air rifle but this one gets the job done OK within 20 yards or so. Farthest kill shot was almost 30 yards.

Of the several good .22s I use this is my most used. It is a Ruger 10/22 with a Volquartsen barrel and a Jewel trigger. PH

how do you like the volquartsen barrel? I have a volquartsen target hammer on the way with a couple other parts.

93civ, the Volquartsen barrel is extremely acccurate and I like it. It only has the bull contour for about 5" or so after it clears the forearm channel so it is not too heavy. It shoots all ammo really well even some of the cheaper stuff but I use mostly Rem subsonics for hunting squirrels. PH
