im feeling kinda sissy now. I was told you shouldnt use more than 100 grs of 777. I guess I need to step up my load LOL.

Depends on what your gun is rated for Waddell shoots 150 grns through his T/C

If you are shooting 777 pellets, 150 grains is ok. The charge difference is already factored in to the pellet weight.

Loose 777 is a different story. You have to reduce your load.

Ah yes i see. I shoot loose and i did not think about the pellets.
 
Got 2 ready for this saturdays bull elk hunts. Hunting 10 miles from home for 9 days unless we get our bulls earlier.

CVA Accura V2 shooting 100gr Blackhorn209, Winchester W209 primers and a .500" 300gr Ballistic Tip Thor Conical.

Pellets is what I shoot! ;)
 
I have a stainless / black Encore but this is my favorite muzzleloader with my best buddy killing with it.
Ruger M77/50 stainless & laminated.
