We are going to Destin FL in October this year. I've heard it's one of the best times to be at the beach...small crowds, warm water, and highs in the low 80s upper 70s. I carry down all my surf fishing gear when we go. Redfish and pompano are supposed to be good in October. We are chartering a 3 hour inshore trip to go after Speckled trout and redfish. It's supposed to be good as well in October.

Hope the FMJ's work out for you. I am making a switch this year as I have had 2 FMJ's bend under normal use. Frustrated me to no end last year trying to figure out what was going on with my broadheads, turns out it was the arrows. Either way, good luck and some nice sheds.

My FMJs did good last year. The bow is still shooting great.

It's an Anchor Sight. Allowed me to get rid of my peep. My astigmatism is getting worse and was having a tough time shooting with glasses through the peep. Problem solved.
