Dirttrax, I have the same rifle. I just can't get over how heavy it is. I wouldn't won't to wag it around the woods very long. It is highly accurate, so i will give it that.

Yeah i bought it knowing it was heavy. And its just what ever you are used to, I tote it for long periods of time and doesnt bother me with a good sling.

Well after SpitnDrum got to talking varmint hunting.... I bought this thinking I would give it a go. This is a before and after pic from changing the factory stock to a Hogue Rubber Over-molded one. I deer hunt with it more than "varmint" hunting.
