Burris FF3
Jebs Head Hunter 560
Camo dip by Etheridge plastic and hydrographic
Shooting hand loaded TSS #8.5s
Won't be long now till we after em!

20ga, .580 factory chokes in both barrels but shoot TSS 8/10s out of my top barrel vs plain old copper 6s out of my bottom barrel. The turkeys hate it.

Ya'll are totin' some very nice irons.

Switching to 20 gauge Tristar semi auto with Bushnell red dot this year (was my wife's gun). With tss this thing patterns just as well out to 40 yards as my 12 gauge with half the punishment and half the weight. No brainer.

Patriot brown/armor black. Lots of black detail in it you can't see in the pic like the top of the rib is black etc.

I shoot longbeard 5/6s out the top and tss 9s out the bottom. Trigger was pulled 6 times with it last year with 6 turkeys dying in Bama, tenn, ok, and Nebraska.

I shoot top barrel as my long barrel simply because at distance I can see/sight better as I shoot both eyes open. Put that little 3moa red dot on his wattles and boom. Dead every time.

These old(er) eyes just don't see as good as they used to.

The barrel is 18.5"…it shoots fine for turkey hunting…it is a bit heavy…setting up a Tristar Raptor 20ga youth to try this season…if there are any gobblers around in my hunting areas!

If I may ask, what's your plans for the raptor? I posted our Raptor above, other than a choke change it's still stock. I had planned on drilling and tapping for an optic, but the little shotgun shots pretty straight and true with just the sight bead.

I still use 3" 12 gauge only. Remington Special Purpose 21" barrel 870 and/or 11-87 are my go-to guns with a Rhino choke shooting Nitro Ammo Heavishot 4-5-7 loads.

Rhino/nitro combination has always been bad news for the birds.
