Laurel Hill

I usually draw AEDC but this year got my third choice which is Laurel Hill. AEDC has spoiled me in that most years I gave the opportunity to harvest a deer if I want it. Always see deer at AEDC.
Well It has been close to 20 years since I last hunted Laurel Hill and I got drawn for it. Looking at WMA harvest reports things don't look good for the Oct muzzle loader hunt. Are the numbers deer heard still down at Laurel Hill. I know there are antler restrictions but with all the Hunter's you would think more bucks would be killed. Your opinion is valued.

I'd say the restrictions probably play a big part. I've hunted it the last 3-4 years an have saw 3-4 shooters. 2 of those shooters came home with me last year. It's a beautiful place to be.

Been hunting there since 2000 shot one last year with bow couldn't find but that the only I've seen to shoot will be there Oct and Nov this year again
