Just sat down for the last muzzleoader hunt of the year for me. Back to work tomorrow and Friday. Then off all next week and the following Monday. Here's to getting to unload my muzzleoader on a nice buck this evening.

Going in the morning and stay as long as I can that will be end this ML for me ,but it ,s on Sat .
It goes quick. And I took 5 vacation days to. Got a decent 9pt and seen countless other deer. Been a good one I guess.

Today was my last MZ hunt of the year also.Total acorn failure on my hunting area.There are bean fields about 2 miles from me and the deer have all gone there!
Keep us posted.
Nothing so far. I have 4 really nice gobblers beside me.

Here's a suggestion, hunt rifle season with your muzzle loader. I kept the family fed with a flintlock for years. I do love a 30:06 and my 870 but once you go black, we'll…….

Tomorrow will be my first day to hunt all day. Been a long time since I haven't killed one during MZ. Hopefully will get it done tomorrow or Friday.

Just got home. Didn't see a single deer. It was stilla great quiet evening in the stand. Hard to beat that deafening silence that the woods provide.
