My Daughter has not taken her hunters education course yet. She has never expressed any interest in hunting what so ever. Even with me nudging her on over the years. I have tried several times to register her in a class. She is 16 years of age now.
She has been shooting my cross bow like a fiend the last few weeks and has expressed a interest in hunting turkeys this spring.
I went to the TWRA website and read the following.

children hunting on their parent�s land under
this exemption are also exempt from Hunter
Education Certification requirements and blaze
orange requirement
If I am reading this correctly... (I just would like clarification and reassurance) . Can my 16 year old daughter hunt with me with a crossbow legally on our own land?
