hi, If have a couple of ladder stands out on wma, question is can I rent it to another hunter for a hunt, will it be leagel to rent it out thanks

You better have permission from the area manager first and be ready to have people hunting out of it regardless. I would think you would not be able to rent it out because you don't own the area the stand is in. Thinking like this is one reason why it is against the rules to have stands left in an area/tree in the first place.

It is illegal to leave any stand on a WMA unattended for more than 24 hours without permission of the area manager.

If you rent the stand, you would be profitting from the WMA lands. That would take a contract with the state to do so.It is close to the scheme where last year a person tried to lease out a duck hole on a WMA and was prosecuted and convicted for it.

IMO your scheme is 100% illegal.
