I ran out a long time ago, where can one buy it? I have yet to find it any where.

Outdoorjunction in Cookeville and Reloadersbench in Mt Juliet and Gamaliel Shooting Supply in Gamaliel Ky all usually have it on the shelf

Yep, way east! I have seen some somewhere just can't remember where! If I don't find it by tomorrow will just order it next time I make a reloading order.

I've seen it in several auto parts store I've been in.

I went to Home Depot, Lowe's, two AutoZones and two Advance Auto Parts, one O'Reily's, one mom and pop hardware store and Mahoney's in JC. No luck lol, I will just order it. Tired of looking for it lol!

this is why i order online for most things

time and money spent looking for something a click away

Yeah luckily they were all on my path of travel. You think something made here in TN would be easier to find in TN!

If you are close to Crossville give me a shout and I'll give you a can. I have about 6 full ones on the shelf.

Snowwolfe thanks for the offer. I am close to Johnson City but I have a lease in fentress county. Next time I am over that way I may take you up on your offer but I will pay you for it!

Perfect example of why I started using amazon...

Thanks, I'll have to locate the closest NAPA store and take a look. I used to go to NAPA for all my car parts but my favorite NAPA store closed and I got out of the habit. Surely they can sell it cheaper than Brownell can when you consider shipping. It's good stuff!

DaveB, are you thinking of Ed's Red?

I think you are right, Ed's Red is equal parts ATF, K1 kerosene and Acetone.

I was thinking of making some but I was going to use equal parts ATF, Hoppe's 9, K1 kero and Naptha.

It also has mineral spirits in it, thought I left something out.

So it's equal parts ATF, K1 Kerosene, Acetone and Aliphatic Mineral Spirits.

If I make some I will let you know and I am going to use Naptha instead of Acetone and add Hoppe's #9.

If anyone is wondering this is a carbon, powder fouling removal solution for your barrel. It is not a copper remover. Also a bore conditioner.
