Started hearing several gobbles about 5:35 this morning a few hundred yards away, so I started on the ole red wasp. I probably over called a bit, considering I answered his gobbles with yelps almost every time, until he got within sight. Then I chilled since I knew he was coming to me. When he finally came out, it was him, another Tom, and a Jake. I picked him, since he looked like the bigger of the two. I shot, he flopped, and the other Tom and Jake stayed around for about 5 minutes after, surprisingly. Super exhilarating and nerve racking. I was worried about my mouth call skills, but I guess they're good enough lol. Super thankful for all the things I've learned here and for a successful morning!
