4 years to the day I killed my first.

As most know I am in the woods every chance I get and in 16 years I see a bobcat about every 3 years or so. This year on my new place I hunt with my bud PMC in Maury/Marshall county I have seen 3 this year.
Tonight 4 pm I caught her slipping in behind me at 50-60 yards
140 grain nosler e-tip 3000 fps did the trick pin hole in quarter size exit. Minimal fur damage. My first one I cut in half so I had to mount just the head... I think it turned out well
I will full body mount this one it was a great eve and glad i got to share it with my bud pmc we were just amazed at the beauty of the good Lords handy work

on a side note

That's something you got them exactly 4 years apart. I say she will make a great mount. Congrats! I killed 2 back when I was a teenager and have regretted ever since not having one of them mounted.

Good deal! I had 3 big cats walk by me a couple of days ago. I think they may be breeding now and the two trailing cats were males following a female. They stopped wide open 25 feet from my tree. I just don't ever shoot them.

Congratulations on a nice cat. I killed one years ago but, I've not killed one in a long time. I do see them from time to time though.

500 dollar pull of the trigger

Is this a reference of the taxidermist cost?

yes

I saw one a couple years ago but they are on cameras every few weeks or so. Always at night, not sure I would shoot one even if I saw it when hunting. Very cool animal.
